Following a 2016 that saw their debut LP Channel The Spirits gain a Mercury Prize nomination, Leaf Label signings The Comet Is Coming are returning to Manchester at The Soup Kitchen on Friday, May 5th.
The bands influences are said to include Sun Ra, Frank Zappa, Jimi Hendrix and the BBC Radiophonic Workshops from which the band’s name emerged.
