Vulkano are an explosive new duo pushing punk forward in their own charming way. With a passion for astrology, the paranormal and nature, healing stones, tropical landscapes, mythology and mountains, Vulkano are made up of the constantly headbanging Lisa Pyk-Wirström(keyboards/percussion) and the tour de force, the hissing feline Cissi Efraimsson (drums/lead vocals).
Vulkano’s debut album will be released on February 3rd 2014 through Vulkano Music. It’s a mix of songs that aren’t for the faint hearted with the band’s full throttle sound paving the way. Uncompromising, extrovert and maximalist, whether this be in the monkey-like sounds in ‘In The Jungle’ or the more accessible electronic drones of ‘Choir of Wolves’, it is sure that this is a captivating band that are worthy of your attention.
