Ukrainian-American indie-rock band, Vinok, who are based in Kyiv, Ukraine release ‘Friends’.
The single is about a relationship that was ‘once intimate but became rotten due to the malignity that a globalized world can bring’, it is about ‘one who is willing to sacrifice friendship for self-worship, societal praise, power, and idols of success. But that comes at the tragic cost of a lost friendship and a mourning forgotten friend’. Speaking more on this, lead vocalist Nathalie Robelot says:
“Often what is most precious to us we take for granted until it may be too late and forever gone. That is why it is so important to remember what is essential, most valuable, and gives life a sense of purpose”.
