As Easter approaches, the London foursome Vuvuvultures is getting set to release their first single of 2014. On April 19th, the pop-noir group from the capital is unleashing an AA single consisting of ‘Arty Party’ and ‘Song Bot’, entitled ‘I’.

This first of four 7” AA side singles is the starting point of a year long trajectory that sees the band releasing more new material in the same format entitled ‘II’, ‘III’ and ‘IV’, before drawing the year to a close with a final release of ‘V’ – a 12” anthology with two additional exclusive tracks.

‘I: Arty Party/Song Bot’ sees the band follow up on last year’s debut album ‘Push/Pull’, which was described as everything from ‘euphoric’ to ‘eccentric and disturbing.’

Consisting of the vocals of front woman Harmony Boucher, the driving guitar sounds provided by Paul Ressel and an unfaltering rhythm section of Nicole Bettencourt Coelho and Matt Christensen, the quartet will be enhancing their live reputation with a support slot with the legendary Adam Ant at the Hammersmith Apollo on the single release date.
