On the brink of an extensive run of European tour dates, stretching from Portugal to Sweden, Hercules & Love Affair have released another exciting collaboration with one of 2014’s sexiest voices. Nominated for a Brit Award, John Grant was the answer to Hercules & Love Affair’s Andy Butler’s constant quest for incredible voices.
To be released on Moshi Moshi on the 9th of June, it’s the second single to see the light of day this year after ‘Do You Feel The Same’. Building on the obvious love for the retro sound of the 909 and filthy bass-lines, ‘I Try To Talk To You’ has a disco feel with a Bowie-touch about it.
In addition to this, the band are releasing a video to accompany the track on ssense.com tomorrow and it’ll be just under a month until the new album ‘The Feast Of The Broken Heart’ hits a recordstore near you. Now, we can’t say much, but expect THAT house sound to be heavily featured with some class vocals provided by Krystle Warren, Gustaph and gospel trained Rouge Mary.
