Horsebeach Matinee Show
Soup Kitchen present a special matinee show curated and headlined by ascendant Manchester lo-fi pop group Horsebeach! Also featuring the woozy Real Estate-influenced sounds Sprinters and Liverpool psychedelia outfit The Floormen – plus England’s first European Championship match on the screen afterwards.Following the release of last year’s critically-acclaimed second LP II, Horsebeach have just come off the back of a rapturously received set at Liverpool SoundCity.
It’s the first in a number of high profile festival slots coming up for the group, with sets at Kendal Calling and Festival No. 6 also in the diary. As a prelude to all of that, the band headline this afternoon as well as bringing along a couple of their favourite bands along for the day.
