As 45,000 music lovers descended on the iconic fields of Heaton Park, Parklife cemented its place as one of the UK’s biggest music events. Temperatures soared as crowds roared to unforgettable performances from the likes of Johhny Marr, Savages, and a very special performance from Plan B. While Manchester played host to over 150,000 music fans over the course of the weekend the attention was firmly focused on The Parklife Weekender.
Sunday’s headline act Example described his performance as “the best festival show ever”, while Jessie Ware thanked her “biggest audience ever” by proclaiming her love for The Parklife Weekender in front of a 20,000 strong crowd. A limited run of 2000 early bird tickets will be released at 9am on Thursday 27th June here, and judging by the past four sell-out years they are sure to go quickly!
