Ride singer and guitarist Andy Bell has unveiled his first solo music. Two songs have been released ‘Plastic Bag’ and ‘The Commune’, with an accompanying video for each. It is very different from his day job and also the electronic material he releases as GLOK.
‘Plastic Bag’ / ‘The Commune’ was originally a limited edition 7” as part of the Sonic Cathedral Singles Club, released in October last year. Both tracks are now getting a full digital release on Friday 10th July as well on cassette as a one-off exclusive for Independent Label Market. The tapes, complete with biodegradable plastic bag, sold out within 4 minutes of going on sale.
