Leeds band MASI MASI have shared new track Favourite Gold out now via Bradford based collective The Boy Who Left Home To Learn Fear.
The trio were due to head off on their first UK tour this month but due to the ongoing crisis, the tour was cancelled, and the band found themselves living in a Citroen Picasso whilst planning their next move. They chose to record their new single Favourite Gold, they say of the song:
“Favourite Gold is a beautiful and effortless way of living that I can’t really seem to adapt to, and something I see some people wear so well. To me it is an emotion and an ethos, but to anyone else it could mean a world of different things. We’ve been really excited to release this, as it’s the first taste of what MASI MASI is really about, the first of a big family of tracks.”
The animated video has been created working remotely with the video director, and the band have also created an interactive online mixing board to help keep people entertained
