With the unprecedented level of demand for tickets resulting in the PZYK 0001 7” record selling out, LIVERPOOL INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF PSYCHEDELIA announce the second release from their new imprint label PZYK – a mixtape cassette PZYK 0002 featuring artists from this year’s bill. The cassette will be released on Cassette Store Day on 7th September.
In conjunction with the release and also on September 7th Liverpool Psych Fest will be holding three in-store performances with THE LUCID DREAM at
PROBE RECORDS (School Lane, Liverpool),
PICCADILLY RECORDS (Oldham Street, Manchester) and
JUMBO RECORDS (St. John’s Centre, Leeds).
Anyone purchasing a ticket for the festival at these stores will receive a free giveaway of PZYK 0002 mixtape while stocks last.
A LIVERPOOL PSYCH FEST PSOUNDSYSTEM will also be in situ at each shows providing a cosmic playlist. Beginning in Manchester with the Piccadilly show at 10.30am, they’ll move on to Jumbo in Leeds at 1pm, before wrapping up in Liverpool at 4.30pm at Probe.
This is all in addition to a bill consisting of –

The festival features a stage curated by the stunningly consistent TROUBLE IN MIND RECORDS, who will be making the trip across the Atlantic from Chicago bringing a cohort of their artists along for the ride. Liverpool Psych Fest will also host an exclusive hook-up with the gloriously antagonistic MORDANT MUSIC who bring an audiovisual MORDANT MUSIC MiasMa to the festival.
Weekend tickets are priced at £45.00 (pbf). Day tickets are priced at: £20.00 (pbf) for Friday 27th September; £25.00 (pbf) for Saturday 28th September.
