After an astonishing debut in 2012, Festival No.6 is delighted to confirm its return on the weekend of 13 – 15 September 2013, with tickets now on sale.

The overwhelming response from attendees and the media has led to the event receiving three separate nominations for this year’s UK Festival Awards in the categories of Best New Festival, Best Small Festival, and Best Headline Performance (New Order).

Mid-September saw thousands of awestruck punters converge on the peaceful shores of the Welsh wonderland of Portmeirion – location of cult 60s TV show The Prisoner – where whimsical Italianate architecture overlooks the rolling estuary waters of the Irish Sea.

Festival Organiser Gareth Cooper said: “We always knew we had something pretty special on our hands with Portmeirion hosting Festival No.6, but the response from everybody involved has absolutely blown us away. We surpassed our own expectations and the reviews have been out of this world. We’re extremely proud and excited to be bringing it back next year with more world-class bands and entertainment. I can guarantee it will be another astounding occasion.”

This year’s event saw headline performances from New Order, Primal Scream and Spiritualized. The festival also merged a diverse range of entertainment from poetry recitals, literary talks and comedy stages to midnight masquerades, torch parades and secret parties in the secluded woodlands.

Guests in 2013 can look forward to another year of outstanding musical acts, jaw-dropping scenery and enchanting distractions at a UK festival location like no other!

Tickets can be purchased from midday on Friday 5 October at: www.festivalnumber6.com or www.ticketline.co.uk/festival-number-6
