Past mistakes have been playing on Louis Shadwick’s mind. Part-confession, part-catharsis, new single ‘Devil’s Pact’ sees the White Kite frontman confront the damage done at the end of a long relationship with brutal honesty.
Shadwick describes how the track is one of his most personal: “It came out of a very dark time,” he says. “In lots of ways it’s about learning to live without somebody, but it’s also about the lessons you learn and the hope that everything could still turn out good. Sometimes you have to be a little bit broken to learn how to put yourself back together.”
