Cabbage have today released Necroflat In The Palace EP on James Skelly’s Skeleton Key Records, the original home of Blossoms and home of She Drew the Gun. The four track EP is the second in a series of three EP’s from the hotly tipped Manchester five-piece, and follows the release of Uber Capitalist Death Trade EP in September. The third and final EP in the series will drop on November 25.
Write Cabbage of the new EP:
EXHIBIT B. Man’s being is non-finite in that existence continues beyond death both bodily and spiritually, however not as a disembodied soul. Those wretched hands that destroyed our nations soul, has been posthumously vilified and sent straight to hell. But there are positives. Self-awareness is key to cognitive dissonance and the true land of the North will be freed by the North Republic of Communist England. Join us as Paul Gascoigne leads us into freedom. It’s no longer grim up North!!!
Cabbage, who have toured with Blossoms, YAK and The Fall, are currently on an extensive headline tour, which included a sold-out hometown show at Manchester’s Ruby Lounge last week. They will play London’s Old Blue Last on November 24 as part of The Great Escape Festival’s First Fifty series of gigs.
Cabbage: Lee Broadbent (lead vocals), Joe Martin (vocals, guitar), Eoghan Clifford (guitar), Stephen Evans (bass), Asa Morley (drums).
