Backed by her fabulous 8-piece band, The Troubadours, Kirsty will debut her latest album Wintersongs, a very special album inspired by the magic and darkness of the festive season. It will be launched with 300, limited edition, individually handmade covers and follows her debut album DejaVoodu, which was recorded at the State of the Ark Studios, London and featured the production skills of legendary producer Youth – who has also produced Paul McCartney, U2, and The Verve.

Manchester based Kirsty has received critical acclaim for her unique performances at festivals including Glastonbury, V Festival, Big Chill, Lovebox, The Ramsbottom Festival and Secret Garden Party. She has collaborated with Guy Chambers, Mr Scruff and The Guy Barker Orchestra; as well as writing and recording music for the film Patagonia.

Five of Kirsty’s songs, including her current single If You Can’t Make Me Happy, feature on the soundtrack of new British movie, Albatross, starring Downtown Abbey’s Jessica Findlay Brown.

Kirsty’s performance will be part of the Christmas celebrations at The Rock’s ‘Glitter Ball’ on Thursday 17 November, which will also include a snowflake lantern parade, ‘Snowglobe’ husky-drawn Santa slay and fireworks, all building up to the reveal of the ‘world’s largest disco ball’.

Kirsty will perform beneath the sparkling record breaker, which will measure 2,000 times bigger than a standard disco ball.
