Acclaimed video director AG Rojas (Jack White’s ‘Sixteen Saltines’, Spiritualized’s ‘Hey Jane’) has added his macabre touch to the Purity Ring song ‘Lofticries’, placing it as a soundtrack to a fever dream of vast ideas – conception, birth, sickness, and death.
The band start their first headline tour of Europe this week and will then be playing eight dates in the UK and Ireland with a long sold-out show at the Scala in London starting things off next Tuesday. Details of the UK tour are below.
With ‘Lofticries’ currently on the Radio 1 Playlist and the band are in the country, they’ll be recording two radio sessions next week. They’ll be appearing live on the Lauren Laverne show on 6Music on the 22nd and will also record a Maida Vale Session for Huw Stephens for broadcast on his Radio 1 Show in the coming month.
