Following on from the video for Lariat last month, Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks now have a video for album track ‘Cinnamon & Lesbians’, which features on their forthcoming album, Wig Out At Jagbags which comes out on January 6 on Domino. Four UK dates have been announced and support will come from Joanna Gruesome.
The album was produced by the band (Stephen Malkmus, Joanna Bolme, Jake Morris and Mike Clark) and Remko Schouten (the Dutch soundman of Pavement fame) in a studio in rural Ardennes with ‘a farmhouse vibe’.
‘Wig Out At Jagbags’ will be available on digital , CD and LP formats with a limited edition LP with a strawberry red coloured one-sided 7” ‘Pick Up The Spare’
Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks will return to the UK for 4 dates in January 2014 as follows:
