Mancunian five-piece SWISS LIPS release their debut single ‘Danz’ on 3rd February 2013 and have confirmed three headline shows for later that month. An exquisite dance/pop/electro collaboration, ‘Danz’ showcases the band’s ability to write classic hits with infectious beats and irresistible hooks.
The band recently hosted a month of gigs/parties and events at The Union on Brick Lane in London, and have had a busy summer which saw them play with Blur, Bastille, Willy Moon and King Charles. Festival appearances included Lovebox, Dot to Dot, Lounge on the Farm, Wakestock, Liverpool Sound City, Great Escape, Camden Crawl, Live at Leeds, Fuji Rocks(Japan), Boardmasters and SWN Festival and before 2012 is out they will also have toured with Ladyhawke, Chew Lips and The Other Tribe.
‘Danz’ has also been re-mixed by The Horrors/ Jimmy Edgar and autoKratz taking it into different places and spaces. Boy 8-Bit, Art Department and Unicorn Kid have also now taken hold of the song and more tracks will be sneaking out over the next few months.
