Well it’s been a long time coming, but finally this weekend will see the combination of many fantastic music and comedy fundraisers come to fruition. At precisely 11:37am on Sunday the life-size bronze statue of Frank Sidebottom will be unveiled in Timperley Village.
As usual when it comes to anything to do with Frank it will be far from just a usual statue unveiling. On the day the Stonemasons Arms will be putting on some entertainment for those who wish to join in the celebrations. Other fun and frolics are also guaranteed and it will hopefully see many of the Frank fans who helped raise the money come and show their support and in turn help raise more money for Marie Curie.
As we speak the Kickstarter funded Being Frank documentary is being filmed and director Steve Sullivan will be in attendance to capture the day’s proceedings, so if you fancy getting your face in the film then this is your chance.
