Twisted Wheel are hell bent on selling out Kraak for five days straight next month, and with all tickets now gone for all but the first night, it seems like they’re well on their way to achieving their goal.
From Wednesday 5th February to Sunday 9th February, Twisted Wheel will take over the city’s Kraak Gallery, bringing a different support act each night (including The Velveteen Saints, Bonehead & Alex Lipinski, The Backhanders and Courty.)
Every date except Wednesday 5th February- when Twisted Wheel both their albums in entirety- has now sold out. It’s also worth noting Sunday 9th February is an over-14, under-18s only event- with Clint Boon and Danny Mahon supporting- and there will be an ‘adult creche’ located in a bar close to the venue for parents in wait.
On top of the gigs, music writer John Robb will be speaking to Twisted Wheel’s frontman Jonny Brown before a live audience at Kraak Gallery at 4PM on Saturday 8th February- £2 tickets on the door.
This series will be documented in a Kraak Sessions fanzine, which is to be produced by 14-18-year-old bloggers, photographers and interviewers.
