Following his recent Brit Award nomination, John Grant has announced what is likely to provide the most fitting setting for his catalogue as he plans to take to the stage accompanied by The Royal Northern Sinfonia for a seven-date UK tour in November.

Building on the success of his critically acclaimed second album Pale Green Ghosts, the former Czars frontman will have his songs reworked and reimagined in a sumptuous orchestral setting, as well as premiering new songs. If you’ve ever wanted to see this man’s wonderful vocals combined with thirty four musicians, this is one tour not to be missed.

Orchestrated by Fiona Brice, the Royal Northern Sinfonia has made a name for itself as both fresh-thinking and versatile and has in recent years collaborated with artists as diverse as Pet Shop Boys, Joanna Newsom, Efterklang and Spiritualized. But it doesn’t stop there as John Grant will visit some of the UK’s most prestigious venues ranging from the Royal Festival Hall in London to Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.
