Trummor & Orgel is Swedish for Drums & Organ, which gives you something of an idea of what to expect when they play Islington Mill on Thursday 10th December.
They’re touring in support of mini album Hopes and Dreams, a collaborative effort with string ensemble Stockholm Strings. It gives more of a widescreen feel to their indie pop stylings, like Holy Fuck’s more playful imaginings. It makes sense that they’ve worked previously with Peter Moren, of Peter, Bjorn and John fame, as they channel that same kind of carefree, experimental pop edge.

Hopes and Dreams is their self-produced seventh album and comes out on 10” vinyl, CD and digitally through Introspection and Cosmos Music. This is their first UK tour and the perfect time to see how their Swedish Grammy-winning reputation as a brilliant and mind-blowing live act holds up.
