After their recent television debut on BBC Four’s UK’s Best Part Time Band, King Salami and the Cumberland Three are hitting the road in what is sure to be a tour full of bangers!
Mashing garage rock and old school rhythm and blues, the London four-piece are heading on a tour that will span the months of July – November. Playing from Helsinki to Tokyo, it seems after their 15 minutes of TV fame, they’ve gained some international recognition.
During the Rhod Gilbert hosted show, featuring guest judges Peter Hook (Joy Division/New Order), Midge Ure (Ultravox/Visage) and Jazzie B (Soul II Soul) King Salami were selected and absolutely blew audiences away with their energetic, often chaotic, blues. Which if we’re honest, despite the talent of eventual winners Bombskare, should have won them the competition.
If you’re a fan of rock ‘n’ roll with spice, bite and a small dose of stress, KS&TC3 are one’s to catch for sure, we know we will!
