Temples have announced details of the release of ‘Strange Or Be Forgotten’, the latest track to be taken from their forthcoming second album, Volcano, which is due for release on Friday March 3rd 2017 on Heavenly Recordings.
Talking about the track, bassist Tom Walmsley said:
“We’re continually inundated with pressure in modern life to have to make something of ourselves and leave behind a legacy in this world. ‘Strange Or Be Forgotten’ is our way of questioning the necessity of having to be all so individual and unique – when really it’s our true selves that should be celebrated.”
The track was self-produced and recorded at the band’s home studio in Kettering and follows the release of the first track to be taken from the album, ‘Certainty’, which racked up well over a million plays on Spotify and Soundcloud, bagged an A list on 6Music and a #1 spot on Hype Machine for 3 days straight at the end of last year.
The band have announced a run of UK shows in Spring of this year. The dates are as follows:
