London quartet Honey Lung have just released their new single ‘Export the Family’. The second single to be released on Killing Moon Records, offering a stripped back sensitive side that contrasts with bursts of the band’s signature ruckus energy with angular and grunge notes.
‘Export the Family’ is the follow up to the quartets’ previous release ‘Sophomore’ which saw support from both New Music Friday UK and New Music Friday US on Spotify. The past year has seen the post-grunge band play The Great Escape and Reading & Leeds Festivals whilst receiving airtime from Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1 and appearing in a live session for John Kennedy on Radio X just two months after releasing their debut single. After writing new tracks in Berlin, the band have recorded with Max Bloom (Yuck), and toured with Moose Blood before playing festival slots at Bastille Sounds, Liverpool Sound City, Latitude and Tramlines Festival. Honey Lung support Bloody Knees across the UK this October.
