Manchester based alt-rock trio Mada Cram have unveiled their new single ‘To the Unknown’, the first new music since their debut EP ‘Now Is the Time’ was released back in April. Available immediately across all your favourite digital platforms, today also sees the release of a new video to accompany the song.
The band have continued to embrace a DIY ethic – recording, producing and mixing the song themselves. The artwork and music video are also entirely self-made. Singer and guitarist Adam Smith said of the new song:
“It’s very exciting to be able to share this new song, we’re delighted with the way it has turned out. It’s a song that was born in our rehearsal room via an impromptu jam that meant the broad storkes of the musical arrangements were written before any lyrics, something that is unusual for a Mada Cram song. Once the idea for the lyrics did present itself one evening, it all came together very quickly.”
Mada Cram are Adam Smith (Vocals/Guitar), Artur Wielogorski (Bass) and Josh Porter (Drums). Together, the turbo charged alt-rock trio make music for the never satisfied. Manchester is the adopted city of all its members, each having moved to the North West from another part of the world, bringing different musical reference points and influences to the ‘Mada Cram’ sound.
